How the phonebook keeps your contacts.
Your contacts load automatically after you sign in. Every add, edit and delete is saved straight away, and a change is only shown as saved once it has really been stored.
If the phonebook was changed somewhere else after you loaded it (in another tab or by another person), you are asked before those changes are replaced. Use Reload on the Saving & backup page to load the newest version.
Download a copy saves a backup to your Downloads folder. It never changes the saved phonebook.
Reloading the page keeps you signed in. You are signed out when you log out, when you close the browser, or after 12 hours without using the app.
The sign-in screen only keeps casual users out. Passwords are stored as plain text on the computer running the app, and anyone who can open its folder can read or change them. Do not reuse an important password here.
